A bowl with a maze moulded into the base, so your dog or cat has to work the food out of the grooves instead of inhaling it in fifteen seconds. Most pets take several times longer to finish a meal in one.
Why owners use one
- Slower eating means less gulped air, which is usually what's behind the post-dinner discomfort
- Turns a thirty second meal into a few minutes of nose work, which takes the edge off a restless pet
- Useful for the dog who finishes first and then stands over the other one's bowl
The details
- Size: 22.2 cm across and 4.5 cm deep, with an 18.5 cm feeding area
- Available in Green and Blue
- Non-slip base, so it stays put instead of travelling across the kitchen
- Dishwasher safe on the top rack
If your pet is regularly bringing food back up or their stomach looks swollen after eating, see your vet rather than reaching for a different bowl.
